*waves baguette* Morning, everyone - well done, weekend runners, esp. Vrap's brood, Paula's lot* and, erm, anyone else I've forgotten.

*That Disney shot is the best bling swag I've seen since Ryan Fitzpatrick's press conference last weekend.

Gastrictastrophe is thankfully over (apparently a '24 hour bug' sweeping the village). Still feeling a bit wiped out but stumbled out of bed to avoid a 3 day+ reverse streak. Things I learned about pre-dawn running:
*It's bloody cold at 6am; and
*It's bloody dark at 6am!

Still, no accidents, digestive or otherwise, and 5 hilly, bleary-eyed miles done. On a train to the salt-mine now...

Morning! Hugs, excellent Disney running, and other running!

First strengthening class for six weeks this morning - that's going to hurt later - and back to track tonight.

Morning :)

Well done Dooooogs.

I spoke to a physio at the race yesterday about my "DOMS" of the moon region, she thinks it sounds hamstring related and I probably had a slight pull of it last week - maybe a bit of overuse after all the walking too. It's not hindering me too much and doesn't seem to affect my running at all so I'll just get on with it.

Haha, she doesn't do apologising, fleecle. I was forgiven after promising her that it wasn't a comment on the soup...

Wishing you a swif recovery, Doogs. Weekend bunting and medal and star all round.

Meanwhile, how does one approach these? I am not a trail runner! The photo does not do justice to the thickness of the glor.

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
