I’ve converted my Mum to YwA. She’s done yoga for years. A few weeks back she made a comment about just doing her own thing. I said I liked having Adriene to follow. I called earlier in the week and she was in the middle of an Adriene video having started HOME

I’m really enjoying my WhatsApp yoga sessions with friends, hopefully having one with FM this week. I did Savour with my friend in Kansas on Sunday and she loves Adriene now. Last night I did hamstrings and lower back, which I really liked. It’s funny but I find I can easily do 30-40 minute videos now whereas when I first started doing Adriene I couldn’t handle more than 20. Not sure if that’s because I got used to 75 minute yoga sessions or I’m just more chilled out about time during lockdown. It’s not like I have to be anywhere else!

I shall watch this thread now I'm yogaing daily. Funny what lockdowns make you do isn't it? Only five days into yoga it's been quite a revelation how I've been neglecting certain parts of my body. I couldn't sit cross legged without a cushion last week. Two cushions actually, but I did it without thinking today. |
