I have just entered myself and MrDQ into this greatglencoechallenge.com

I may not be able to run another marathon but going to have a damn good try at walking one! We used to do a lot of low level hillwalking before we both took up this running lark so really looking forward to it. :)

BTW I have put forward a proposal to Fetch to include these types of events in the race listings. It's proposal no 262 if it is something anyone else would also like to see there.

We have done bits of the WHW in the past and are actually going to be staying 4 nights near Glencoe in October between Baxter's Running Festival in Inverness and Aviemore Running Festival as it seemed a bit silly to come all the way home to Aberdeen only to drive back up again a few days later. The lodge we are staying in has a regular nocturnal visitor who is partial to a bit of jam as we have discovered on a previous visit ;)

It is DT you would love it. Right on the shore of Loch Leven overlooking the Pap of Glencoe with the most wonderful seafood restaurant within walking distance :)
