I did something to my leg a couple of weeks ago and I rested it since and last night tried a little run but still not right I've looked on the internet (I know bad idea) and the symptoms point to shin splints Maybe a silly question, but would seeing a physio be of any benefit? Also anyone who's had them got any pointers? |

Shin splints is a bit of a dustbin term. If it is shin splints then it's bony and a physio will struggle do much with that. Having ignored something similar and ended up with tibial stress fracture, rest is the main thing. The general thing is can you hop? Rest till you can hop on that leg without any discomfort then wait two more weeks.
