Awesome running folks and I’m pleased to report a PB this morning on a new course to me, Great Denham parkrun, 20.29. From 21.05 to 2 weeks ago 20.46 which I was pleased with to today’s result. Very pleased with that and looking forward to doing PJ again later in the year or next year.

Keep at it, persevere and then nail it, good luck folks.

Lots of nice times coming in - well done Team Fetch

I set an accidental PB today on a threshold attempt at Nothwich Parkrun :-) Only 8 seconds but I didn't mean it, I think it is just the Pro-Jo improvement kicking in.

Quite chuffed as I had a slow start and did a tough interval session this week

I'm on week 8 with 15 aces and 8 jokers (mainly as I've avoided doing threshold and intervals in the same week until my body is in better shape)

I have jokered more intervals than I would have liked so I think I will do another 10 weeks as I have a half I want to improve at.

I have jokered more than I'd have liked and my long runs, whilst counting, are not as long as I'd want them to be.
This short speedy stuff really takes it out of me!
I have one more full on week - then a delay to retest until the 31st as were away and pr isn't going to happen.
I think I'm going to cycle 6-10 weeks of more volume and lengthening the "long run" - with a few interval sessions - maybe one every other week? - with 6-10 weeks of ProJo-ing for the rest of the year now.

I didn't think about the retest when I started. I'm on me hols just as week 10 closes

So, do I hunt a run somewhere before gorging on Italian food for a week or give it a couple of weeks after I get back...
