Evangel---nasty thing PF---I had it a few years ago and I found one of those PF boots to wear in bed overnight made a big difference and got me back to being ok more quickly than anything else. Mine had got to a stage where walking was a nightmare and co-codamol were a treat! The "boots" cost about £26 from any physio equipment site. 99 in July is good enough pedros, but tantalisingly close to a round figure! Humid run again this morning down here in South East Wales. Bet the midges were out and about in Speyside Lesley! |

That's 99 miles over 3 years Steve not 99 miles in a month.

Steve, I seem to remember the super-macho scout leader trying to burn them out with his cigarette lighter! Not sure about the wisdom of that. But it could be worse ..... outdoorhub.com ION, I have blogged about my weekend. fetcheveryone.com/blog-view.php?id=27701&m=0&y=0#blog369606 In Bristol today so will pick up a gentle recovery run tonight, unless the torrential deluge followed me all the way down the M5 in which chase I might just sit in a bar with a book.... |

Project Joker is giving me a regular 23 mile week, including the 10 mile long run. I really can't wait for it to be over, I miss the 14 to 18 mile runs believe it or not. My highest mileage half year to date. I managed 611 in 2015 when I ran VMLM but only managed 1001 that year. Let's hope the mileage doesn't drop off this year, it shouldn't with marathon training taking over from Project Joker for a December marathon. |

I saw that article Mark, no problem for me as I don't eat meat. Looks like it will be wet tonight for my run. I do enjoy long runs like that too FF. |
