it's ok though, you can run round the puddles at HDS :)
(that's what I asked on here the year I signed up for it...) I was a bit clueless and hence spent the whole race somewhat traumatised :)

Nice jacket and I do tend to stick to Ronhill.

Back from sports massage - it hurt and he said it was the worst knotted back he has ever worked on. That will be all that wallpaper stripping!!

Nice jacket LD. I've got a lovely Ron Hill windproof jacket which I'm about to put on as it's bloody windy here. I'm going to head to the country park and will see what it's like for running. The first mile is the main entrance so that should be fine. Hoping the paths round the lakes aren't too full of fallen branches etc.

Catching up again.

First off, I ran all the way home and added on a couple of twiddly bits to make it up to 8 miles. Go me!

RA - I did the same thing last year. Now I'm absolutely trembling at the thought of running, and my up/down mojo is not helping me one little bit.

SK - sometimes I do that in the morning (run to New Cross from home, or get the train from Forest Hill to New Cross and run from there). In the evening it has to be pretty much all or nothing, I find. Although on Monday I did run back as far as New Cross to pick up the car as we left at the pub on Sunday.

Paula, having seen how strong you looked after 20 odd miles at New Forest when you vanished into the distance with TgE, you will be fine on your ultra

not crazy at all RA :)

I have a fair bit of Ronhill kit too, it does last well. Nothing quite that pink though I like the idea of flashing lights :)
I'd not come across that online shopping opportunity, I don't thin - Must stay away, I really don't need any more kit!

Paula, what's the New Cross to the city run like? It is one of my options as I live a bit further east and work a bit further west :-)

Jacket lovely and bright. I do have some Ron Hill stuff and I like it :) Didn't feel brilliant during last nights club run, so I have decided to go easy on myself and allow a day off. Hoping to get to the gym tomorrow morning though.

I think it's utterly crazy RA - but I am clearly in a minority... ;)

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2017 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Happy running :-)
