Wasn't sure whether to post this in here or write a blog, maybe I'll do both.

Anyway I have started an initiative on the book of faces that is trying to get as many runners as possible trying to pick up at least one piece of litter a day. I'd love to get loads of Fetchies on board too so please click on the link if on FB, like the page and share with your running communities too.

If not you can join in here anyway. Let us know how you are doing and moan about dog poo etc etc. Photos are good too (not the poo though)

So Fetchies show me what you've got. You are good good people, let's use that good to make a bit of a difference. Have been promised a bit of publicity if we get over 200 likes too :-)

I picked up a can from the back lane today by the way :-)

Here's the link....

great idea ☺:)

and to even the canine score a little, my dog often recovers and carries home discarded water bottles , guess we average 2 maybe 3 a week- probably dropped by cyclists

Well done Rosehip and canine friend. I know most dog owners are conscientious and I definitely don't blame the dogs :-)

Funnily enough, I picked up two empty plastic bottles off the grass verge today. There was loads more, though :(

This is a great idea. And Fetch should do some sort of badge for it :-)

Good idea. I often pick up rubbish while out walking the dog. Most recently McDonalds related, the nearest McD's is 8 miles away...

I also agree with McGoohan about the badge, and I also read it as book of faeces.
