In most walks of life, having a proven track record as a treacherous, deceitful, philandering, avaricious, incompetent oaf would count against one, but in politics it is so unremarkable to be almost a basic requirement.

Apart from the ones that appear make a few posts and then just vanish (presumably because this isn't the sort of site they think it is) I've only ever come across one individual who I'd seriously consider to be a troll. And that individual presented as female. S/he may just have been crazy of course... |

Yes, and on a similar topic seeing David Davies being harangued a couple days ago made me feel sorry for him in a way.

Physically assaulting someone ranks lower on the criminal scale than speeding? Someone desperately needs to re-evaluate their values. |

Stander, what sort of sentence would you think appropriate for the hosepipe holder who sprayed me in a race? I agree that splashing someone falls under the definition of assault, as does getting in their face and shouting at them. That MP getting harangued was merely reaping what he sowed. It was the brexiters who promised it would be quick, easy, painless. I'm not at all sorry that they are being held to account for their lies. |

Too Much Water
Just voted. Rather than throw a milkshake I opted to kick the elderly gentleman sporting a red rosette who asked for my polling card number hard in the balls. Of course I didn’t actually do that, I politely checked he had what he needed and then moved on by. Not really too difficult. |

I think TMW should surrender himself to the local plod for conspiring in this criminal outrage.

A mate of mine is working in the polling station and he’s totally G-Unit so didn’t want to cause any bother

I just voted and couldnt stop smiling at the name at the top of the Brexit party list. Annunziata Rees-Mogg, woman of the fucking people.
