I'd missed the last three posts, sorry! the bouldering post was for under HPs comment. I swear. I did quite bad swearing in front of a small child whilst trying to woman up and let go of the wall on an autobelay (stoopid things  I have also done swearing while up the wall - I think I forget how far the sound carries as essentially you're in a cavern!

I'm now left wondering if I'll even manage profanity through chattering teeth! Can't see it being a problem really. Is there anything I can do to strengthen my legs before I start? Upper body is pretty strong because I walk the dogs, although a bit of extra work wouldn't hurt because I'm aware that most of the climbing work comes from upper body. Legs are ok from the walking and running but again a bit of extra work won't hurt. |

"Dave, obviously, new swears". - I can't even blame fat fingers on the mobile or auto-correct for this one, as I'm on the laptop!!! new = never. Actually, he's quite quiet on the wall. The auto-belay swearing was just out of 'why can't I just let go' frustration. Other swears are normally not too bad and just at myself. I'm generally enjoying it too much to swear properly

I only swear a tiny bit when I flap at a hold and find myself being lowered back when I thought I'd conquered a route
