Is anyone else watching the CX worlds? Safe to say that there's a bit of moisture in the ground!:-0

I watched both yesterday and today. Was a good watch. Yesterday interesting, today surprising.

I was watching for the spectacle more than anything. I don't really know any of the competitors beyond the GB youngsters and I didn't see the u23 or junior races. It was quite a demonstration of skill to get round that course though. Claggy just isn't a strong enough word for the way that course was!

There used to be a cyclo-cross the week before our XC at Trent Meadows, they left a great course to follow.

CX season ended with the world's right I've just read there is no Boonenberg AKA Taaienberg as they've changed the course this year. Gaviria riding for QS, will be interesting to see how he goes. |

Yes, from what I've read it seems they're using the historical RVV finish for this, with the Muur-Kapelmuur and Bosberg and only a fairly short stretch after than to the finish. Could be good, and possibly less predictable as a result of the change.
