I have dropped a note to Fetch about the falling off the home page.

McG - the RoD pic is also on the Routes opening page - if that's what you mean.

I may be off the pace here but I thought we lost it from the home page a while ago? I click on ‘routes’ to see the pic of the day.

the pic was actually taken a few weeks ago - New Year's Eve in fact.
It was late afternoon and the sun was starting to go down over Snowdonia, but that's lost on a phone camera

I wonder, is it possible to tag whereabouts on a route the photograph is taken? I was wondering about McG's Winter Tanners photo in particular, but it would be good to have this option.

Me too. Thought it would be a good addition.

In terms of my Tanners route from yesterday, it's a few weeks since the photo was taken but IIRC it was between about 12.5 to 13 miles. We're heading North again and that's the North Downs ridge you can see in the background.
