I thought Disgrace was superbly written - the story itself was heavy/bleak but you could always watch an episode of SpongeBob SquarePants afterwards to cheer yourself up - I am keen to read more Coetzee..

I thought I'd read a load of J M Coetzee then remembered I'm mixing him up with Thomas Keneally again for no good reason.

Can I just throw DBC Pierre into the mix? It’s impressive that he became a writer when he doesn’t even know his alphabet.
