90mph gust recorded on the coast about a mile from here, earlier on. It seems to have calmed down now though

Nothing unusual. Looking at the charts, the North of Scotland is unusually calm. On the downside, it's also freezing, 14C less than windy Southern England.

Windy here in Norfolk, I just had to wrestle the wheelie bins into a sheltered corner to stop the lids flapping & banging.
