Yup. Looking at strava from the weekend & comments, if you park in main carpark you wait for the tail walker to pass before you can exit. Makes sense...

Having done car park marshalling at a parkrun, I hope they've got a physical barrier across the car park exit...

But Richard, surely no parkrunner (who are all blessed beings) would ever be so self-centred, ignorant or confrontational as to fail to follow the instructions of a marshal, especially in such circumstances ?? :-o

The Berkeley Green one is relatively close to me - I've run the Berkeley 10k several times and have an entry for this year's race, and you park in the afore-mentioned carpark for that. I can't say it appeals massively to me though I suppose the view of the Severn, and the flat firm surface, will appeal to a lot of people.

I see Wollaton Park parkrun in Nottingham has a page on the parkrun uk website (although the link isn’t active)

Anyone know when this begins?

Interested in that too Matt. My kids have a karate competition in the David Ross Sports Centre at the beginning of April. If I could nip out for half an hour or so...... ;)

I know nobody can give start dates etc (and I'm not interested in Inaugural Chasing) but any updates on Peel Park, Winsford or any other new ones in the Cheshire, Manchester, Peak District area?

Two inaugurals on the same day on Saturday in Northern Ireland, which is good as it'll help the core teams cope

There may be an inaugural parkrun happening near you. Best to check with the local parkrun volunteers to see if they want you to know about it or not.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
