Sandhurst parkrun (Berkshire) route has been sorted out and it's nearly ready to roll. I heard that it will be submitted to HQ for final approval and scheduling the inaugural, but this might be as far away as January. The core team are taking over Bracknell parkrun soon for training.
Also I just saw someone post about a trial running of the route for Fleet parkrun (Hampshire). That will make 8 parkruns within 10 miles of me.

Ooh, they'll both be new NENYDs for me. And that'll be 9 events within 10 miles according to the Tourist Tool.

A flurry in the South West over July-September it seems.

Ross already.

Mallards Pike imminent.

Stroud & Clevedon supposedly both due to follow within the month.

Volunteer requests already fairly frequently on social media for my locals anyway so hope they all can continue to thrive without RD stresses!

Was told a rumour Sunday of a parkrun in the Llwyn Hir forestry from the Machen side

Heard on the grapevine there is a second Doncaster parkrun starting in the next few weeks. Apologies if someone already said that and I missed it.

Molesy, yes it will be the Memorial Park. That park gets very busy on a Saturday morning so there might not be anywhere at the park for parking. They might end up using one end of M&S's carpark at The Meadows and walking through the course about 10minutes away.

There may be an inaugural parkrun happening near you. Best to check with the local parkrun volunteers to see if they want you to know about it or not.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
