In actual parkrun-to-be news (Scottish edition), afaik things are shaping up for Largs, another prom parkrun (which would make a sequence of Greenock-Largs-Troon); Stranraer, who's ten nearest list might all be a bit awkward to get to; and just seen a call for people to get involved with a proposed new Clyde Walkway/ Cambuslang run. Which might result in a closest Scotland pair with Tollcross. Unlike in England, there are no really close parkrun pairs.

Bailey Park junior parkrun is imminent with Castle Meadows parkrun (both in Abergavenny) due to start by the end of the year.

Remember to bring your wellies for Castle Meadows.

Dvorak, I reckon I could just about run Springburn, jog over to Ruchill and overtake the Tailwalker if they had someone walking in an hour or so. Can't think of anywhere else in Scotland that would be possible.

There may be an inaugural parkrun happening near you. Best to check with the local parkrun volunteers to see if they want you to know about it or not.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
