You city people have these problems Steven! The narrow out and back at Meadowmill reminded me of the tricky section on the Ellon course.

When we started Inverness we were worried that no-one would turn up! Changed days.

Anyone heard about the one planned for Dukes Meadow, Chiswick? Banks of the north side of the river Thames, near The Boat Race finish line.

A third one in Aberdeen? Interesting.

Is there going to be one in Inverurie or did I make that up? Am sure I read that somewhere.

Thanks for confirming I hadn’t made it up.

Not sure if there’s a demand for a third Aberdeen one as have fairly close other options outwith Aberdeen - Crathes & Stoney.

I've not heard anything about a 3rd Aberdeen venue.

I think Hazlehead/Aberdeen are almost at saturation (in my personal opinion as a RD, not any official party line) so anything that might dilute those numbers can only be a good thing.

Duthie park 5 laps?
Seaton park 3 laps? - too close to Aberdeen beach, surely!
Gramps at Kincorth

Tullos Hill Gramps?

Can't think of any other suitable locations.... Westburn Park/Victoria park are too small.

would be kincorth. 100% agree with maz on the ABZ saturation and need for a third one, hence doing a few recces and looking at it. very early stages, and quite a few potential problems, so not getting too optimistic yet.

(ICYI westburn/viccy park perimeters are barely even 1km, so impractical. tollohill too far out IMO. sheddocksley out and back probably too narrow)

There may be an inaugural parkrun happening near you. Best to check with the local parkrun volunteers to see if they want you to know about it or not.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
