Fierce and Fearless Fleecy
2nd latte, pissing with rain here. The mist is rising off the river and the ducks look content :)

No cleaner at my house either. We just do housework in fits and starts. Last night I cleaned a cupboard door on my way up to bed, just because i noticed how grubby it was looking.

That was very kind of MrLD. What a lovely gift.

I reckon 1 in 3 of the people I know does have a cleaner, but I know a lot of people who work very full time and have young kids. We had one when I was little and both my parents were working, then she got replaced by me and I did it in exchange for riding lessons. From memory, I don't think I did a very good job.

We had a cleaner (a succession in fact) when we both worked full-time - it's a big house and it was the only way to stay sane. It was one of the things we stopped when Mr AL switched to part-time work. He now does the cleaning but it's hard to stay on top of it all.

I never had a cleaner - even when working full time+ with 3 small kids. My house was much cleaner and tidier then than it is now too.

I blame the dog, but have a feeling that running and Fetching also play a part in the dust levels and piles of stuff not put away!

Back from a run. Instead of having a shower now I'm going to chance going down the beach for a dip. I might get an extra rinse if that big cloud comes over while I'm there.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
