I reckon 1 in 3 of the people I know does have a cleaner, but I know a lot of people who work very full time and have young kids. We had one when I was little and both my parents were working, then she got replaced by me and I did it in exchange for riding lessons. From memory, I don't think I did a very good job.

It was one of the things we stopped when Mr AL switched to part-time work. He now does the cleaning but it's hard to stay on top of it all.

I blame the dog, but have a feeling that running and Fetching also play a part in the dust levels and piles of stuff not put away!
