Fairly happy with the year though I do sometimes ask myself how I managed not to do more. (Answer: laziness, probably)

Hit my initial target (301); my next target (365) and am thankfully far enough away from my next not-really-a-target-but-I did-wonder (400) that I won't spend tomorrow chasing it (though I do plan to do something).

Looking at the figures, I had one notably low month (September). But off the back of that (during and just after), I achieved my second fastest 10K, my second and third fastest 5Ks and my best HM for eighteen months (waves to V'rap). Admittedly my speed since has gone downhill like a hippo on a toboggan, but peaks and troughs, etc.

A guid New Year when it comes to all TTTHers and see you next year bunting

i am fairly happy but also disapointed i planned 400 and did 371 i expected to do more running than i did mainly due to injuries i recoverd from 2yrs of PF but had secondary injury in same foot recovered from that only to unknowingly fracture other ankle how i did it god only knows with which i trained and cycled the Ride London 100 not wanting to go for treatment in case they plasterd it up meaning i would miss the Ride London.Because i rode with effectively one leg i was really shattered and it took me weeks to recover by that time i was many hours behind my target so next year if i can get back to running and cycling i can have another go at my target.Happy New Year to everyone.

Cuddy
324 hours, 89% of my 365 hour target in the end. I was a bit disappointed with that at first, but then thought that's more than twice the hours of last year, so in actuality, I rule :-P

I made 242 which is nothing by most of your standards but since I managed a grand total of 2 in all of October owing to injury and that is at least double what I did the year before, I'm pretty satisfied with that :)

If you'd told me in 2011 when I started running that I'd clock up 1000k in a year, I'd have laughed you out the house. In fact, I made 1304k (plus lots of biking, swimming and odds and ends of cross, including an hour of gymnastics at the "bring your parents" day!)

Onwards to 2014. Still battling the evil plantar fasciitis but still made 13k today and it only started getting sore about 8k in which is the farthest I've gone yet without any discomfort.

The Scribbler
I'm all up at 283:48, more than my original target of 275, but under my revised 300 target, mainly due to a big drop off in training after tri season.

I'm really happy with my training this year as it's been a good mix and a decent balance with other life stuff.

Count me in for 2014 :-)

So- who is in this year?

Not wanting to chase a mileage target? Do multiple sports? Log your cross training?

Declare a target of hours training for the year- doesn't need to be 365, pick your number....

The members of the group have contributed the following notes:

Cuddy says: 365 hours for the year - July update: 204 hours total, of target of 212 (96% of target to date)
MoscowFlyer says: 400 hours for me please! - 181 @ 30/04/13
sioux says: 250 to start with................ End of Aug Total- 177

PenW says: 250 hours (original target) Or we'll see where I get to...... 96 on 30/6

HappyG(rrr) says: 400... 483:52 on 1/12/2013 500 is looking likely! Non-run training proportion staying nicely at 32% for year. Well done Total Training Trackers! G
Velociraptor says: 60 hours a month. That's 720 hours. I don't expect more than 10% of it to be running.

31/1/13: 71:57, just under 10% of target.
28/2/13: 169:20, 23.5% of target.
29/3/13: 247:31, just over one-third of target.

30/4/13: 345:43, 48% of target.
31/5/13: 452:15, 63% of target.
30/6/13: 542.37, 75.27% of target.
31/7/13: 660, 91.67% of target.
shyfire says: 250 .... 189 on 02/12/2013 Fallen behind in Sept with dodgy foot & general blah. 70 hrs to go. Fallen further behind in Oct with doing up old house & hospital visiting. 63 hrs to go. Nov was a write-off. 2 spin classes and a 3 mile walk for the whole month. Bring on 2014.

hairlikeeddy says: 365+

The Scribbler says: Target 300... 270:27 on 30/11/13
