Oh poor Ollie :( I hope the vet can find a way to get him back to boinging springer-stlye again soon!

Ralph has learnt "wait!" very well - so I can run-walk-climb with him on the extending lead and he was fab up and down the latest fell stopping and waiting for me rather than puuling me over. A steady run or jog at one pace is till beyond us though

Phoebe has had her stitches out today. No problems except a slight infection near the bottom of the scar. Anti booties for them. Yesterday she hit something in the garden and got a small graze under here eye. It’s only small but I figured seeing as we were going to the vets today they could have a look. Anti septic drops for the clean small wound and the anti biopics for the operation scar should stop any infection.

Apart from that a clean bill of health!

Next month is vaccination month for Phoebe.

And she got the thermometer as well 😲

When we were at the vets on Tuesday and getting the referral the vet also changed Ollie's medication, replacing the Tramadol with Gabapentin. Within 24 hours he was weight-bearing, and within 48 hours he's walking without a limp.
Not a solution, as the drugs will be masking the pain rather than treating the cause, but at least he's more comfortable while we wait for the CT scan (booked for the 28th).

Not only outrageous, but completely at odds with reality. Why?
