I tend to say "sömuleiðis" automatically. It means "same to you." It usually works, except when I've just checked into a flight and the assistant wishes me a good trip.

Hah! Rosehip our photocopier password *is* my debit card PIN with 2 digits transposed. You can only imagine how much trouble it causes me 😛
