I was running back to my car after parkrun this morning and wondered what the flapping was in my shadow as I ran along. I looked down and realised that I hadn't done up the zips on the bottom of my trousers. Not a good look from behind - I felt a right idiot.

Velociraptor
One of the tricks my brain plays to try to make me stop in races is to tell me that the zips on the legs of my tights are undone and the tights are flapping around my ankles.

Got home from my run. Felt in the back pocket of my running tights and there was no key. Had a moment of blind panic until I realised I was standing in my kitchen and I’d used the key to get in the house.

Three nights in a London hotel. Programmed the safe with a code. Put house key, Kindle, iPad in there. We didn't actually close it at all. Everything was as safe as if we had. (Does anyone check an open safe for stuff?)

Ten minutes frantic searching round the flat for my keys on Sunday morning to head out for a race, before I remembered that my prep the evening before had been so thorough as to include zipping them into the pocket of my kit bag.

Fragile Do Not Bend
Breakfast TV had a piece about the comic relief group climbing Kilimanjaro, and they said Dani Dyer was the youngest of the group at 22.

“Danny Dyer certainly looks rough for someone aged 22” was my genuine reaction.

Wondered why I couldn’t hear the podcast.

Didn’t have my earphones in.

Serendippily
Unpacked shopping, took toothpaste out of paper packaging, put packaging in recycling, applied toothpaste to back of hands while looking at the hand cream. Eczema worse but hands now smell minty fresh.
