A friend messaged me last night with this gem “The electrician came at 9 this morning to fit two new lights in the kitchen and had finished by 10.30. He then spent two hours trying to work out why one of them wasn’t working - right down to taking it down and making sure all the wires were connected - before finding out that he hadn’t put the bulb in” |

Let me set the scene, Mr Mulbs was on his way home in a taxi with no cash so I was on alert to step out and pay. Taxi arrives, I run out, open passenger door brandishing cash and asking how much it was. Complete stranger, who is a bit startled tells me how much his fare was. I apologise that I'm not going to pay his fare because he's not my husband. Two minutes later Mr Mulbs arrives, his fare was £7 in case you're interested!

Finished a short workout on the rowing machine. Picked up my phone to sync the session to Concept2 and also turn my music down. Couldn’t figure out why the volume button wasn’t working. Remembered I still use my iPod shuffle for rowing music... |

The Mighty Fleecy
I mostly read on my kindle, this flummoxes me when I have a paper book because I try to swipe instead of turning pages and I regularly turn the light out to read and then remember that paper books don’t have inbuilt lighting...
