Lovely work everyone. My cwtch jumper is 95% finished. 8 rows of the cowl neck and a lot is seam joining to go.

Very cute WL and nice colours too. I need to attach handles to a bag I crocheted to hold a yoga mat...one of these days I'll get around to it!!

Would you knit mittens on small circulars or dpns? And if small circulars do they need to be short in length?

I would always use circulars over dpns if it were an option purps as I hate dpns. I use long cable circulars and magic loop for socks/mittens etc, never tried short cable circulars, I think it depends how short the cable needs to be and therefore how short the needles are and how that feels in your hand as to whether or not you get on with them.

Currently in danger of casting on ‘all-the-things’ as i’m going away for a few days and despite having done very little knitting recently CANNOT possibly risk running out whilst i’m away from home  I appear to be finally going down the boxy ravelry.com slope after putting it off for years, and also have stash yarn for tierney ravelry.com from The Knitter magazine (that i can get free e-copy of through library) and i expect there’llbe an ‘emergency’ pair of socks just in case

Thanks for the replies I've watched a couple of videos and magic loop looks easy enough for me, I'll have to look at 2 circs as well and decide what to try.

Ooh, so I've just watched a video and the lady was knitting only 10 stitches, looked purps friendly but also easy to get tangled. Will try both.
