Excellent news, purps. That's a few nasties ruled out.

Yeah, all looked fine in there. Maybe it's just a combination of the sertraline and copper coil. I'd like it to stop now thanks.

I thought copper coil was notorious for causing heavy bleeding?

It's the second time I've had a copper coil. It didn't alter my periods the first time (pre children) and I'd been fine with it until earlier this year. It's not heavy, it's that it's almost constant. There are some heavy days, but not anything greater than I had without it.

Just popping in for a small whinge. My boobs hurt! As far as peri/menopause troubles go, I’ll take it. But oof... |

Sore boobs are what drove me to the GP, it’s really hard running or bouncing with sore boobs. Or sleeping. Horrible but fixed by changing pills about 4 years ago or so. Doubling up on the mini pill is working ok for me so far by the way, much less hormonal the last few months, especially if I keep the alcohol intake low. |

I think I’m in a similar place to purps. I’m on day 30 of a continuous period. Not just spotting- full on period. No period pains but there is some discomfort/pressure in my pelvis. I have a scan on 18th but I feel any fibroids or cysts would have been picked up in pregnancy? (I’m 6 months postpartum) A while ago I was told I had a fertility age of 48 (I’m 38) so maybe I shouldn’t rule out menopause early? My cycles were only 21 days before pregnancy. Maybe my body is just messed up from being pregnant? GP couldn’t do a smear test this week as too much blood so hopefully it might have stopped by time I see gynae. Exercise is now coming to a standstill as well, I’m just slow, massive headaches and no energy/inclination, although a 6 month old is quite tiring so 🤷♀️ |

Sounds crap, GF but yes, a small baby is exhausting. Made an appt to discuss HRT shortages and alternatives on 23rd but just realised I only have 3 more patches. Running out will coincide with the students arriving. Not good. Will have to try and get an emergency appt |
