That's no good Lizzie, rest up!

I'm very impressed with the Topo ST-2. Probably the best zero drop shoes I've owned since the Saucony Hattori. I still prefer the Vanish-R for racing, they're slightly lighter but as far as durability goes, the ST-2 is just awesome. I got them for 30 quid on ebay too, women's version but they fit fine!

I agree. I have had few runs in mine recently where my running just had that 'dead' feeling -no apparent 'return' from the shoe. Wondering if the the sole has lost something

Bit the bullet and got some Topo ST-2s and so far glad I did. Feel nice and low profile with a wide flexible toe box. Only had 1 run in them so far but first impressions good. You still liking yours Snayak?

Awesome Claypole! Yes, still loving mine. I'm using them without the insoles and so far they've held up well.

On the other hand, the Vanish-R soles are disintegrating fast, and I'm only using them for parkruns!

Snayak, how does the sizing compare for the Topo relative to the vanish r? I might see if I can pick up a cheap pair of topo’s online.

It's hard to say puzzler, because I got the women's version on ebay. I'm usually a size 7. I got the women's size 7 which I believe is a half cm smaller than the men's. But it's still very roomy.

Hi Puzzler. I don't have the Vanish R to comment but can confirm that a size 12 Topo St-2 comes up a little larger when compared to a size 12 in the Altra Escalante and also larger than a 12 in the Altra One if that helps.

Thanks both.

Claypole, it it enough so you would trade down a size/half size next time?

Hi Puzzler. No not that much in my experience.

Snayak. Can I ask you how far off the end of your Topo ST-2 shoe your big toe is? Mines a generous thumb width and have always wondered, despite it being my usual size, if mine are a half size too big
