Interested in the comparison with the TrailRoc 235 snayak - Ive been using those as my road shoe for a few years now, but the soles are getting thin. How does the width compare to the Trailglove?

The fit is exactly the same as the Trailroc. Maybe just a tad more room in the toe box. I find them both very comfortable. I've been using my 235s on the road too and surprisingly, there's not much wear on them. I think the Trail Glove is better suited for roads as the studs aren't as prominent or sticky.

just as a thought, I see the trail talon. 235 as the next evolution of the trailroc. Might be worth a look. I always used to find the arch too high/rigid on the trail glove.

Yeah, the Merrill high arch thing is a deal-breaker for me

snayak, I've got no complaints about how they're lasting - 650 miles and counting and only the outer and toe-off lugs are worn almost flat. I just know I won't find another pair... :(
Flanker, If the TT235 is similar to the 250, then the slight cushion/slipper like feel of the sole make them a less suitable road shoe for me. I'm hoping the local running shop will have some to try on at the weekend, so I'll find out.

My 235s are slightly wearing on the outer forefoot area too but they're amazingly sturdy. It's a shame they don't make them anymore but the Trail Glove is a good replacement. Let's just hope they don't discontinue those too! I was quite apprehensive about the high arches but they don't really bother me, I've got high arches anyway.

Flanker, the TT (or any of the other Inov-8 trails shoes) isn't zero drop is it? I know 3mm doesn't make that much difference but I just wish they would have at least one zero drop shoe in their line up.

snayak - the new terraultra is zero drop. All the hype has been about the Graphene version, but they've just announced a non-graphene version which is £20 cheaper inov-8.com

I've tried the graphene version, and didn't like the overlays - the kevlar is a bit too duty imo.
