Sorry to have missed it.

I am thinking of doing a few runs on the Deeside way, coming from Stonehaven where is the best place to park to access it and have a decent run? Also are their parts that are still untarmaced? Cycled it a few years ago and there were parts after Petrculter that were just rocks!

Also what's happening around the roadworks??

Duthie Park outward is fine for about 6 miles until Milltimber Brae,

the Milltimber crossing is clearly marked but not entirely lovely to run thru a building site and cross the road.

Milltimber to Culter and beyond is much the same as it ever was... some road, some path, some scree, some beside fields... all the way to Banchory.

From Banchory, park at Morrisons i think, or Milton of Crathes
From Aberdeen, avoiding parking at Duthie park carparks, you can park beside Allanvale cemetery on Great Southern Rd and join the line via the steps up the hill... or park on any side street off Holburn/Riverside (Allanvale, Gairn, Balmoral etc)

Can you tell the railwayline is my patch! lol!!!

Banchory way, the Milton, Tesco, Morrisons or the centre of Banchory are easy places to park. The Banchory side has no tar, and can be muddy but it's still a decent path. Aboyne to Ballater is a nice section to run. Banchory to Aboyne is a little more challenging. I have run it all (not in one go obviously;-))
