Can’t beat taking a milestone time down when it’s just a training effort! Great run, looking good for Chester Sjjh!

Nice one Sjjh, great time and nice going with keeping the bigger marathon picture in mind with 19 plus for the day! Good luck at Chester. It's a good one for a decent time. Just a couple of very small hills that will cost you 30s each, max. :-) G

Can anyone suggest a flat-ish fast Half marathon around the end of Oct please ? my race calendar for the rest of the year is looking pretty empty.

Yeah, sorry was in a hurry when I posted that! Super flat, good field and a very fast course on the right day. Only issue is the seaside wind on the wrong day. That’s a chance you take in the autumn / winter I suppose.

Also echo Gosport, though gale force crosswinds almost killed me when I last ran it in 2015. But previously to that I ran it in ideal conditions and it ws great! Theres one at Silverstone on 24 Nov but again could be scuppered by windy conditions.
