Never tried jackfruit. Will look out for it.

Quorn is a moderately convincing meat substitute. IMHO.

I used to like paneer, cheese is off my menu as it gives me huge amounts of phlegm. I do like quorn...the pieces make a good 'chicken' curry.

Mutter paneer, the veggie curry of the very gods themselves. I've found myself strangely drawn to halloumi which I did not expect.

There is still no excuse for celeriac. Mash it and it looks like Smash and tastes like celery. Double plus ungood.

Ah yes, useful with the bat too.

There is nothing wrong with celeriac. Drain it well before mashing, lots of butter and pepper.

Basically mashed anything = vehicle for as much butter and pepper as it'll take, maybe a bit of cheese. Oh, and bacon helps too :-)
