My dad claims he once wrote a report saying "Drifting slowly astern". Knowing the student's dad would find it funny, and he was giving the subject up anyway.

My maths teacher wrote on one of my reports, 'He'll probably pass (exam) just to spite me.' I was good at arithmetic but not mathematics, I scrapped a 'C' O' level some how and drastically failed additional maths the following year.

Good news Greppers! I had a reunion with 3 other people I used to work with in the bank yesterday. We were reminiscing about the old ledgers, filing in the dungeon, cheque books and all sorts of other antiquated systems that were still in use then, we felt it was actually quite Dickensian by today's standards. |
