Mine were always just variations on "could do better" or "does enough work to stay out of trouble"

I've just done 74 reports for 2 primary school classes - neither of which were really 'mine' - after two teachers went off sick!

I've still got all my school reports, including primary school, from well over 50 years ago! It paid off being a hoarder because they were very useful today. |

I don't think I could recycle any of my comments from when I was at school, but I regularly thing 'Ah, little Johnny in 8A is very similar to little Jamie in 8B last year - I shall recycle that one!'

Just been feeding the menagerie and watched the gecko licking his eyeballs. It made me think of you lot

After my dad died I came across my Gran's school reports from the beginning of the last century. All done in beautiful handwritten script. Also found some early primary school ones for me and my brother. I came out much better in the reports, he went on to do significantly better in school. |

i have my old high school reports, all handwritten. Each has a very pertinent comment from the headmistress as well as a test score, effort comment and a general "could do better" phrase from each subject teacher. Must have taken hours for Miss Matthews to comment on approximately 1000 girls reports, 3 times a year.

'A little immature' is one that I remember. From the biology teacher. Nothing changes!
