Not sure it would really help with the long term over thinkage, but it has helped me get out of the toilet cubicle I was hiding in at least]

[colleagues were chatting about the film On Chesil Beach, line manager mentions that she’s not seen the film but read the book. I said “oh, that’s an Ian McEan novel isn’t it?” Her “ooh no, I don’t think so”. Yes it fucking is. I wouldn’t mind if it was this one thing, but it’s everything, work and non-work related, several times a day every day]
