I can't do it for you (or it would have been done weeks ago), and I don't want to piss you off in case you never do anything for me again. [I've emailed and spoken on the phone, I've brought in the person who assigns the work. I could march down there to speak face to face (generally not the done thing), appeal to their manager (increasingly tempting), or rope in my manager (which feels like admitting defeat and will almost certainly rope in their manager too. Votes please, as I can't let this go on any longer.]
