They have various different coloured start areas but its fairly easy to move around between them from what I could tell. No 'pens' as such.

I think at the expo you could change your predicted time as I think so of the guys I went with did that.

it is not really what i want to do now, but i am doing it this year, it is a good marathon, great atmoshpere on saturday with the inline skating marathon, and great beers after at the fair on the finish line :-)
Oh yes it is a fast course too :-)

After months of pondering I've finally took the plunge and entered Berlin. 4th attempt (I keep saying final) at breaking the magic 3hr mark.
