Shame that every performance has to be greeted with either "cheat because of shoes" or "cheat because he didn't use the shoes"!!

Larkim I agree it is a shame, however this is where we are due to the shame a number of coaches and athletes have brought to the sport. The new cycling is athletics where like it or not the levels of drugs/substance abuse leaves us reasonably having to have at very least a question mark over any such performances.

Great run (again) by Callum Hawkins. While it's great to see and is often held up as how amazing Scottish Athletics is just now maybe we would do well to look deeper. One family 36 YEARS later breaking previous record.
Well done team Hawkins.
