That women's 1500m was pretty good! Good fight by Dibaba, thought Hassan had it, she should have waited for the straight to make her move (might not have mattered though).

Some fantastic races in Ostrava tonight. Miller-Uibo looked amazing but I won’t ruin it for you all. See if you can find video of women’s 300m online.

Charlie Grice on a good comeback too

Kipchoge's Ineos 1:59 Challenge announced as taking place in Vienna, not London as previously mooted.

Date between 12-20th October

Will be interesting to see if similar to the last time in Italy with the lead car and arrowhead of support runners, etc

The straights look good, not so sure that the tight roundabout at one end looks Ideal though. But it is a long loop.

Not at all surprised they've moved this from London given the likelihood of poor weather.

I'd guess they'll use the same or a better version of the arrowhead and lead car options.

Presumably they’ll have considered the radii of the turns. This from letsrun:

“I'm from Vienna, the turns are two very big circles, one around the "Lusthaus" building and one around the "Praterstern" train station.”

Well, the Lusthaus (sounds interesting ;-) ) on google maps has a diameter of 52m. At 4m30 per mile pace, that sounds relatively tight at speed - not hugely dissimilar to the radius of a turn on an indoor 200m track. It's better than a cone in the road, but it doesn't have the flowing nature that Monza had.

Looking at it on Street View, then the road itself at the roundabout is pretty wide - they could make it less tight if they coned it ( and obviously measured !! ) towards the outside of the circumference, but would obviously still need to be wide enough for the lead car/van and any other support vehicles

Yes, it does look a bit wider on streeview. I'm sure Eliud has visited and signed it off as acceptable, and they only have to go through there a handful of times. The tightness of the turn was the first thing though that struck both me and my eldest when we saw it (separately) yesterday.
