I've only ever been on a Thursday evening which is when Harmeny go. Corstorphine also go Thursdays ( but only summer, whereas Harmeny go all year ) so Thursday is quite busy, not sure about other nights. But even on Thursdays you could easily still get your session in. HAC and CAAC start at 7pm , so if you were there at 6pm it would be pretty empty I think

Where do you enter and pay? At the actual track or through the changing rooms used for the AstroTurf? Might trial it next week.

Reception desk at the changing rooms - not sure how much it is per session, we get it discounted through the club and pay the club coach

Or the back "entrance" through the fence!? Or join a club Bazo and do intervals in a group. I won't say there's no wind but it certainly helps tucking in behind someone. 10 x 150m - 200m - 150m pyramids then 80m shuttle runs x 10 or so. Racing the kids! Done under 5:00 stuff in there! Mara training? Errr not really! Fun though! G |

I wore the Vapourfly's this morning as their first test. It was only a five mile easy run so nothing much to report. A bit like the ZoomFly they felt a bit clunky at first but the ZoomFly were better on subsequent wearings. Looks like due to the wind I may do my MP miles tomorrow instead of Sunday (for the sake of 15mph rather than 20mph winds - got to take every advantage you can) where I plan to give the Vapourflys a proper test ahead of next weekends Alloa half. |

@Baz, you're posting in the wrong thread mate, your mileage + recent marathon times + VFs = sub 3 thread (surely)!

Baz, of all the people on here you're the one I'd most like to hit their target, and it would put a massive smile on my face to see you come back with a 2:5* I really like this thread too, but think I jumped straight into the sub-3 thread when I joined fetch and only got here through the sidebar links! |

Touché Baz, I'm still 8 minutes off that group but hopefully I'll continue chipping away at that in Rome 👍
