Brilliant head torch run up the hills last night. Blooming cold, but no wind, no snow, so lovely. :-) G

Need some mojo here. Used any excuse last night not to run in what would have been lovely conditions, and then bailed on getting out of bed this morning to rectify my lazy-itis.

I just need a kick up the backside.

Consider yourself kicked larks! It's lovely out there at the mo.

I shall do my usual lunch time plod, even though I couldn't find any of my other running gloves this morning. I have at least 3 pairs, but could only find one and they are in the wash. Might just put on my work gloves and go very slowly so I don't sweat! Or go crazy and buy some more?!

It's -3C here this morning. Though in the town, by lunch time, I hope it will be a bit milder! :-) G

Lovely out there? Horizontal rain, wind, 2 degrees. I'm with larks. Stay in bed! :-)

It would have been glorious both last night and this morning - light winds, 0-2deg, dry tarmac. Usually my favourite conditions.

I'm on finish line duties at the Four Villages Half this weekend, perhaps that will reignite my mojo!

Ah, you west coasters. It's always wet on your side of the country! :-P

A bit of marshalling and cheering fast front guys n gals through capable mid packers to determined back runners will sort you out larks.

Run today though mate. Unless you're injured or actively resting, there's never a reason not to run! Weather does *not* stop us! :-) G

Yeah I'm with G get out today or tonight, the longer you dwell the more you will miss and it's better to keep maintaining fitness rather than lingering on the sidelines.

Plan for me is easy lunch run today and then a long run with the parkrun in the middle tomorrow morning, depending on the route it will be about 6.5 miles on each end. Tempo the parkrun. :)

Should give a mid 40 mile week with two rest days unless I do something Sunday.

it's the time of year where everyone gets their training in gear Lark and gets faster, don't get left behind!!

I have serious mojo right now but I'm pretty sure I'm in the phase where you get a bit more tired before you start to see improvements. That's a little frustrating TBH!

Cross country tomorrow. I'm so happy to be back able to do it again. I will be slow and rubbish and back of pack, but that's OK too! Great to be able to cheer on our ladies and see some of the faster lads in club and friends / rivals in other clubs etc. It's a great festival of club running and the grass roots of ours sport. Just don't want to get injured again! :-) G
