I'm not at the Nat XC because entries had to be made before I knew how my health was going to be. I've got a 20 miles training run instead ;-).

Some good long runs bagged there, 20.5 for me, glad Jigs was kind enough to run with me, it was beautiful sunshine in Bedford :-)

Yep I'm at the National, I'm pretty bobbins at XC at the best of times and I've got a feeling that Parliament Hill is not going to be my kind of course at all as I can't really cope with hills, or mud! Have never raced there before so looking forward to it none the less :-)

Uyuni the one thing that is absolutely guaranteed on that course is hills. Something that is highly likely by the time senior men run is loads of mud! :-) I've also experienced thunder and lightning, sleet, ice and a complete deluge.

It will be my fourth time at the Nationals/Southerns and I love it despite being well towards the back of the field. When that start gun fires and two thousand odd runners charge up that hill it is awesome to be part of it!

Yes, mud and hills ;-). Parliament Hill Fields was one of my childhood haunts and I have raced it a few times for SEAA XC Championships.

Haha, I think you're a bit quicker now than you were then Lee :-) One lap steady and then see how I feel, I think, if you go off too fast I might catch you... ;-)
