Bless you all... I am just counting down the days. 2 runs totalling 7 miles left then we will see but I would be ecstatic with anything sub 3.45 as that would still be a significant pb

I’ve got one of these ridiculous 24 hour 10k relays in a team of 5 at the weekend. Will hopefully manage 6 laps which is about 37 miles. Hoping that the weather is decent and that I’ll not be required to muster a 7th :-)

Ouch, good luck with that Uyuni. I did a 3 man 5k 9 hour relay a few years ago where the weather turned two particular sections into a quagmire. 45 minute recovery was definitely insufficient! Hopefully 4-5 hour recoveries should be the order of the day for you, though plenty of time to stiffen up too.

About 3 hours between laps lark if all goes according to plan - just enough to stiffen up, but not enough to get a decent sleep, lovely
