I think we need to put this out of its misery.

Glenners got the last bit, but was distracted by a red dot that appeared on the floor. In his efforts to capture it he runs into a table leg, knocking over a pot plant. If you squint a bit the scattered compost falls in the shape of some letters...

'A number of tennis courts' implies loads. There are four, and they are quite horrible. I may end up playing on them quite a lot over the summer, mind, due to fixtures in the Chelmsford Tennis League.
