Oscar - to clarify the combinations. Use a cup instead of the gents (seems there's no restirction on which floor you can do this) and then empty it in the sink by coffee counter in the cafe. I think you can then rinse the cup there and re-use it for coffee.
[and repeat]

At least that's how I read the message ....

As you will most likely be aware, we are currently experiencing downtime regarding a number of lifts within the building. The building management team have provided us with the below update:

Lift C: A component has collapsed on the door operating system. The part is currently being procured and delivery is expected within 3-5 working days.

Lift D: This lift went out of service yesterday. This has been investigated and identified as a failure on the door mechanism. The parts have been ordered and delivery is expected at some point today. The building management team will endeavor to put this back into service today.

Lift G: This lift has been out of service for a number of weeks and has been identified to require a specialist cooling fan for the drive unit. This has been ordered and is currently being manufactured and awaiting a delivery (anticipated 2-3 weeks) and installation date.

We acknowledge that at this time the lift lobbies are busier than usual and on behalf of the building management team, we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Trying to be helpful Dave - why not take the door component from Lift G and fit to Lift C today? (while waiting for the parts for Lift D)

I think my national clothing is a t-shirt and technical trousers. My food is chips and sausage in batter. My religion is Pokémon Go.
