And Misplaced upper Case letters?

Drives me bonkers. I had a stand-up row with a chief inspector on Monday because I took away some of his guerilla comms material because of random upper case letters sprinkled over it. And it was off brand. And in the wrong place.

Shouting at chief inspectors is kind of a hobby though, yes?

Poor buggers. It's said most officers get 'stuck' at one rank at some point. That is *absolutely* the one rank to avoid getting stuck on. All downside, no upside, and you get bullied by mid-ranking civvies who want to take their frustrations out on someone.

You have a point (but I’m not mid-ranking). This cop was quite naughty a few years back, he’s lucky to still be here and everyone knows it.

For a moment I imagined a hideous alternate world where Captain Kirk was played by Will.I.Am

I did punctuate it that way, then decided Chief Inspector Kirk was worrying enough an image as it was and changed it.

Works have moved up and on to the south (lift end) landing lobby area just outside conference room 1.3.
Please be vigilante in this area at all times when passing through.

You must not pass under the red and white tape at all , not even for a peep.

Please keep your distance for your own safety.

Thank You

Love the use of 'vigilante' instead of 'vigilant'.

[some of you might have seen this on twitter, in which case apologies - and whilst this isn't the ideal thread I'm not sure where else to post it]

A woodentop in the office next to mine came in lunchtime and declared "chocolate covered shortbread biscuits are the oracle".
