Agreed, a tad bit choppy on Sunday, always nice when the rain blows up your nose!! I was an idiot in shorts, then again it's very rare for me not to wear shorts wish I'd put an extra top on under the waterproof though instead of just a t-shirt. After finishing on the Saturday we were thinking of going up a class next time. Think we'll be sticking to Harter still though. If we hadn't completely ballsed up cp 6 on day 2 we'd have been on for a half decent time, nevermind there's always next year!!

The Dartmoor Mountain Marathon was good fun last weekend. For a newcomer it was a great experience, although some of the more experienced competitors were saying that there were insufficient route choices to make on the linear courses... Anyhow I had a good time. Highlights here: |

It seems to me that experienced competitors often say things like that. Glad you had fun Boycie, are you going to do another one? |

Been a while since anyone has posted here. The LAMM is still under discussion with my usual partner. It is a very long way north this year and he seems to object to that a little. Disappointed that there is no Dartmoor this year as that was a fun one last year. May just have to be the OMM for me this year. |

Is this the quietest thread on Fetch? Really enjoyed the LAMM this year and now gearing up for the OMM (C course). Anybody else?

Maybe see you there, bigmunnki, not that it'll be crowded or anything. I'm there with run2thehills and we're probably travelling down with Wee Rhino so there'll be a few Fetchies around. Sorry rigpig, but no. mrs shanksi would probably leave me if I disappeared to Wales for an entire weekend. |

I'm doing the Rab MM. It's my first one and I'm a wee bit scared. Any tips for a newbie?
