Did you use your beeper? I had mine set to 34 secs per length, did 100 with beeps at the end of the length, then the next 100 the beep when I was level with the clock half way along the length. |

No didn’t use beeper. It just irritates me trying to find the button in each recovery. Use it for longer intervals when I can justify having a beeps worth of recovery.

Yeah I don’t bother trying to find buttons, just set it going before I get in the pool and leave it beeping away!

First for me tonight. Local pool changed the time of the aqua fit class to 30 mins earlier meaning I couldn’t finished my set and had to get out, so drove to the next town to finish off! Managed it and pleased with the result too!

Hey rhb, it's always up for debate (certainly when I'm teaching/coaching I take a more holistic approach these days, which comes with experience, but it's useful to have a scheme to work to when you're analysing stroke and BLABT is the one they always used to teach teachers (and still do in Scotland)). In other news, I might even be troubling the water with my presence shortly! |

Well, that was....er....merde. An easy-paced “proper swimmer’s” swim but it was like cutting through glue and necessarily short. Good to be back in the water though - I definitely need to get some sort of plan sorted out. WU: 2x 50fc/50bs MS: 200fc, 100bs, 50bk, 25fly, 25scull SD: 2x 50fc/50bs |
