Winter training. Hmmm.

Current schedule:

Monday: Lunch Run

Tuesday: Tri Club Swim. Pilates Lunch Time.
Wednesday: Ride to Work Day.

Thursday: Circuits Lunch Time. Evening Swim session.
Friday: Rest.

Saturday: Cycle whilst son @ Horse Rangers (2h).

Sunday: Rugby coaching & reffing.

It's not really enough. I'm entered into the Ironman Marbella 70.3 at the end of April - need to up my game a fair bit.

I think you just need a good long session once a week and to stick in some bricks. 2 hours cycling is not all that much; can you stick a run on the back of that?

2 hr runs! (are you mental).

There's a whole level of commitment to which I will not go.

I got some ideas from a youtube video today, though, about swim technique, which I think I can actually understand & do. Not that it matters much when swim is only 6-8 minutes out of a 1 hour event! Still, low hanging fruit.

Hello

I've been to the gym today, i really enjoyed it and will be making a concerted effort to go regularly.

I'm also having a professional bike fit on thursday morning. it will be interesting how different it should be from my setup.

I'll let you know how different it feels, as i'm hoping it prevents a sore lower back from recurring.

keep training.
