Sorry to hear that Tizer, hope you're soon mended. No judgement from me Keith - it's cold and slippery here. |

Manchester in under 11 weeks now. Got a 21 miler in on Sunday and have now got rid of my pre booked inddor races (1500 and 3000, 2 PBs though :p) and can concentrate on my plan ahead. I need to trust in my plan though I have no confidence in myself, but plan is being follwed well so far.

Re: Yassos, terrible for me as a marathon predictor. I'm much faster at the shorter stuff. Ironically, i have them on the plan tomorrow. Training is going well so far, though i seem to be having fueling issues which causes me to stop mid-workout. The speed seems to be there, i just need to sort out the endurance and fueling. |

some good stuff going on in here folks, keep it up. Hope you're on the mend LMH, Tizer. I'm still struggling with my achilles and so I'm a certain DNS for Manchester now. JDA would you take me off the sidebar please - it only hurts more to see the original target up there. Thanks! |

Sorry to hear that WW. I'm building the miles at the moment but both knees are a little niggly and I'm paranoid. I know it sounds dramatic but I can't see me getting back to the halcyon days/times of 2018. I'm trying to focus on the fact that I can still run and I'm still quite fast for an old woman, just not as fast as I was. That's the trouble with plans and work Keith:-) |

15 with 7 tempo for me today split into 3, 2 and 2 with about 3 mins rest. As ever it was windy and came in about 6:40mm pace I think. Maybe a bit slower as there was a 6:48 in there. Summary is that I am not quite where I would like to be.

Sorry to hear that WW. I know from my wife's experiences how persistent achilles problems can be.

Terrible long run for me on Friday, was supposed to be 21k with 13k at marathon pace. Could hardly raise myself above a canter, was cold, then later on hot and sweaty. Go it done though in the end. Put then on Sunday (15k easy) I set a PB on a route i've used a few times, then on Tuesday I had a cracking session with my club. So I've no idea where I am fitness wise really haha. |

All I know is that I'm not where I'd like to be icenutter - and unlikely to get there. But I'll keep plodding on more in hope than expectation.
