19:08 or thereabouts at a breezy Harrogate parkrun this morning, course is a bit trickier than I'd hoped so that's a reasonable result for me. Ticking over ok for now.

20mph winds so I went to 3 lapper and more sheltered Portobello. Time OK in 19:33 but still wind affected, however nice even splits and worked my way up to 4th place which is comfortably my highest finish ever

Nice effort JDA

Is this a sign?

I had planned to go for a tester run tomorrow to see if I'm fixed. Spent the day laying turf today and something has bitten my ankle and made it swell up nicely 😬

Do I still do the tester run or is it a sign to give it a bit longer?

I'd give it another day if your ankle is still swollen in the morning Chris. Better safe than sorry, and there's still plenty of time.

Reckon my own early run might be a bit delayed tomorrow , as the Foo Fighters aren't showing any signs of stopping and my elderly neighbour appears to be too deaf to complain about the volume from my TV.

Don't run if it's swollen Chris and keep an eye on it in case it gets infected.

Lazed around until midday, but did fit my scheduled run in nevertheless. Keep listening to your wife Chris- that sounds like the least painful approach on all fronts!

I have to agree with Fergus' assessment of the situation Chris 🙂

Have a pain in my back/buttock after yesterday's Round Sheffield Run - a 20km staged trail enduro (think Rally driving) on the paths/ trails/ pavements covering the Sheffield Round Walk. I came in 14th overall and 4th MV40 in 1:14:15, a big improvement on last year's 1:18:57 when I tied 11th overall and tied 2bd V40.

More detail on my blog if you have a spare 5 minutes.
